This is perhaps one of the most well known types of body jewelry. The bead has two divots and is held in place by tension. The diameter of the ring’s interior is what is important for sizing, as if the diameter is too small it will leave little room for swelling and pull at the piercing. Too large, and it is likely to get caught on things.
Fixed bead rings are similar, except the bead is attached and not removable. Segment rings have a removable segment that pops out, and seamless rings have a small hinge and appear to have no break. PP also offers a snap-fit CBR for larger gauges that makes it easier to insert and remove the jewelry.
The CBR comes in a variety of materials (titanium, surgical steel, acrylic, etc.) and can be worn in virtually any piercing – earlobes, cartilage piercings, the nostril, septum, genital piercings, etc.
